Located at the convergence of Olifants River and the Ga-Selati River, the town of Phalaborwa is a part of the Limpopo Province of South Africa. It runs along the eastern border of The Kruger National Park. It has got its name from the Sotho tribes who had moved to this region from the South. The tribal people call this place Ba-Phalaborwa that means better than the south. They named it so because they found this land better than their southern areas to settle down.
